My Birthday Trip to Ireland 2012

5 May

Here are a few photos of highlights from my Ireland trip in March. You can read about my birthday and see a couple other photos here.

Above, you can see an abandoned church in Ballylanders. Hauntingly beautiful.

Below, a photo taken from our car as we drove through County Limerick and County Cork. IRELAND IS SO GREEN.

A whooshy, long exposure shot of a mini-waterfall/river thing on the Ring of Kerry.

Another “cool” shot of a waterfall, also on the Ring of Kerry.

A murky lake on the Ring of Kerry.

This was a scenic point on the Ring of Kerry called Ladies View. Beautiful.

This was the view from the top of Conor Pass on the Dingle Peninsula. Seriously breathtaking stuff.

Pretty coloured buildings in Kenmare.

Cork (my favourite Irish city).

I finally visited County Clare! :D

The prettiest, softest donkeys, ever.

We visited the Rock of Cashel – well worth the visit.

And finally, one of the highlights of Dublin: a visit to the Guinness storehouse, where I poured the PERFECT pint. Look at that gravity-defying froth! Oh, yeah.
