Lovely live music in Durham

Living in Durham means that I’m lucky enough to be able to see quite a few talented bands every so often.

Flight Brigade were jangly and had lots of band members and LOTS of fans.

The organisers (Vane Tempest Sessions) also always make sure that the setting has such a special mood, like this:

Then last Saturday The Lake Poets graced the stage.

It’s really fun to discover new bands, but it’s also great to live so close to Newcastle, where Big, Proper Bands come to play. We saw The Darkness a couple of weeks ago, and we’re all set for Coldplay and Florence & the Machine for next year! Excitement!
